Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By clicking "Pay Now" or otherwise placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

You should print or save a copy of these Terms for your records. We may update these Terms from time to time—the current version will always be available on this page with the date of last update shown above.

1. Information About Us

2. Our Products

2.1. Made to Order: All paint tins are custom-mixed to order based on your specific colour selection. Each tin is bespoke and manufactured specifically for you upon order confirmation.

2.2. Colour Accuracy: We have made every effort to display colours accurately on our Site. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display accurately reflects the true colour of the Products. Paint appearance varies based on:

• Monitor and screen settings
• Surface type and texture
• Lighting conditions
• Number of coats applied
• Application method

We strongly recommend ordering paint samples before purchasing full tins. Samples allow you to test colours in your specific space and lighting conditions.

2.3. Product Images: Images on our Site are for illustrative purposes only. Your Products may vary slightly from these images.

2.4. Availability: All Products are subject to availability. We will inform you by email as soon as possible if a Product you ordered is not available, and we will not process your order.

3. Privacy

3.1. We only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please take the time to read this, as it includes important information that applies to you.

4. Eligibility

4.1. You may only purchase Products from our Site if you are over 18 years old.

4.2. You agree to use the Site in accordance with applicable law at all times.

5. Placing an Order

5.1. To place an order:

• Select the Product you wish to purchase
• Choose your quantity and click "add to basket"
• Proceed to checkout
• Enter your payment and delivery details
• Review your order carefully
• Click "Pay Now" to complete your purchase

5.2. Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting. Please review your order carefully on each page.

5.3. After placing an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order and payment ("Payment Confirmation"). The contract between us is formed when we send you the Payment Confirmation.

5.4. If we cannot supply a Product (for example, due to stock issues or pricing errors), we will inform you by email and will not process your order. If you have already paid, we will refund you the full amount as soon as possible.

6. Pricing and Payment

6.1. Prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT at the applicable rate.

6.2. Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not affect orders we have already confirmed with a Payment Confirmation.

6.3. Product prices exclude delivery costs, which will be added during the order process.

6.4. We accept payment by debit card, credit card, and other payment methods displayed on our Site. Payment is required in full at the time of order.

7. Delivery

7.1. Your order will be fulfilled and delivered in accordance with the delivery options shown on our Site.

7.2. Delivery is completed when we deliver the Products to the address you provide.

7.3. You own the Products once we have received payment in full, including delivery charges.

7.4. Please examine your order upon delivery.

8. Returns and Refunds

8.1. Paint Products (Non-Returnable)

Paint tins cannot be returned or refunded because:

• Each tin is custom-mixed to order for your specific colour choice
• Paint is a bespoke product manufactured upon order confirmation
• Once mixed, paint cannot be resold

By purchasing paint, you accept that paint tins are non-returnable.

8.2. Paint Samples

Paint samples may be returned unopened and in original packaging within 14 days of receipt for a refund. You will be responsible for return shipping costs.

8.3. Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or defective product:

• Contact us at help@knucklespaints.com within 7 days of receipt
• Provide photographic evidence of the damage or defect
• We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion

8.4. Wrong Products

If we send you the wrong product, contact us within 7 days and we will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.

8.5. Your Legal Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights. As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Products that are faulty or not as described. For information about your legal rights, contact your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

9. Product Use and Your Responsibilities

9.1. Testing Required: You must test paint in a small, inconspicuous area before full application to verify:

• Compatibility with your surface
• Desired finish and colour
• Suitability for your conditions

9.2. Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring our paint is suitable for your intended application
• Proper surface preparation
• Following application instructions
• Ensuring adequate ventilation during use

9.3. No Warranty of Suitability: We do not warrant that our Products will be suitable for your specific purposes or meet your expectations regarding colour, finish, coverage, or results.

10. Our Liability

10.1. What We Don't Exclude: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Any other liability that cannot be excluded by law

10.2. Consumer Customers: If you are a consumer:

• We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or negligence
• We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable
• We only supply Products for domestic and private use—you agree not to use them for commercial purposes
• We have no liability for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity

10.3. Our Products are provided "as is": To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Dissatisfaction with colour, finish, or coverage
• Damage to surfaces or property arising from product use
• Results that do not meet your expectations
• Issues resulting from surface preparation, application technique, or environmental conditions

11. Intellectual Property

11.1. We own or license all intellectual property rights in our Site and the materials published on it.

11.2. You may print or download content from our Site for your personal, non-commercial use only.

11.3. You must not modify any materials or use any content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

12. Use of Our Site

12.1. Availability: We do not guarantee that our Site will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw the Site at any time without notice.

12.2. Account Security: If you create an account, you must keep your login details confidential and not share them with others.

12.3. Prohibited Conduct: You must not:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

16.2. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16.3. However, if you are a consumer resident in Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident in Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

17. Changes to These Terms

17.1. We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect:

• Changes in how we accept payment
• Changes in relevant laws and regulations
